My room with a view was great modern. A kettle, a sitting area, and a hair dryer were available here too.
As for me, the area was very ordinary.

Make sure to ask for a late check-out if available. The fine views are best enjoyed slowly in the morning light.

fantastic access to amazing landmarks and fine park views
I really enjoyed the spacious rooms with lovely rural views and the hot buffet breakfast that gave me the energy I needed for my city strolls to nearby attractions, like Skutustaoagigar, just under 3 km away and perfect for some leisurely hikes along the serene landscapes.

The restaurant's limited dinner menu needs more variety and later hours!!! Room ventilation struggles lead to stuffiness, and the absence of personal towels like washcloths falls below standard expectations!!!

The hotel is beautifully modern with comfortable rooms that include nice amenities, but the midges can be a serious annoyance. Despite enjoying a delicious dinner at the restaurant, a little empathy from the front desk staff would have gone a long way towards improving the experience overall.

Modern decor with fine views of the lake. Lacked adequate space for toiletries in the bathroom. Enjoyed the happy hour at the bar.

Gorgeous view with cozy comfort
Waking up to lovely views of the lake was pure magic! Each sunrise was a picture-perfect moment. The big window in our room let in bright natural light.
Though it felt isolated, the limited dining options meant we had to plan meals carefully. The only restaurant on-site had long waiting times during dinner.
